Absolute Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

To remove





1 Unplug the ignition discharge module 10-pin connector and bend it to one side.
2 Unplug the sensor connector.
3 Undo the connector.

To fit





1 Check the sealing washer and fit a new one if necessary.
Apply Vaseline (part no.30 04 520) or equivalent to the sensor threads. Fit the sensor.
Tightening torque 17 Nm (12 lbf ft)
2 Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520). Plug in the connector.
3 Plug in the ignition discharge module 10-pin connector.
