Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Service and Repair

To remove
1 Remove the pedal bracket cover by undoing the 3 screws. Tilt down the cover and carefully pull it out. Pay attention to the cab for the diagnostic tool data link connector and the lighting.





2 Undo the screw on the relay box.





3 Tilt down the relay holder.





4 Carefully open the catch and remove the relay.

To fit
1 Spray the connectors in the relay holder with Kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520) and fit the relay.





2 Tilt up the relay holder so that the cover closes.





3 Tighten the screw on the relay box.





4 Replace the cables to the diagnostic tool data link connector and the lighting. Position the pedal bracket cover and tighten the screws and the clip.
