Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair





POWER STEERING PRESSURE SWITCH (1991 ONLY)


Power Steering Pressure Switch.:






REMOVAL


1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

2. Raise vehicle on hoist.

WARNING: Make sure vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned on hoist. To help avoid personal injury, provide additional support to the opposite end of the vehicle that components will be removed from.


3. Disconnect electrical connection at power steering pressure switch.

4. Remove switch.

INSTALLATION

1. Inspect O-ring seal and replace if necessary. Install power steering pressure switch.
^ Torque: 11 Nm (97 in lbs).

2. Install electrical connection.

3. Lower vehicle.

4. Install negative battery cable.
