Piston Sizing


Pistons are available in .005 inch (.125 mm) and .0157 inch (.400 mm) oversizes.
To check piston fit in bore, using suitable micrometer, measure piston diameter at right angle to piston pin hole center line, .20 inch (5 mm) from bottom of piston. Piston diameter plus piston clearance minus .002 inch allowance for finish honing will give piston size to be bored to.
