General Description
The
PCM controls the ground circuit for each individual injector through a driven circuit located internally in the PCM. It can alter the injector on-time in milliseconds to achieve a correct
air/fuel mixture from signals received from various engine sensors. The PCM will turn injectors on and off during deceleration, traction control, misfire diagnostics and if signals from the
crankshaft position sensor are intermittently disrupted.
