Seat Back Beam Cover Replacement (Front)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat back beam. Refer to Seat Back Latch Beam Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Latch Beam Replacement - Rear) .




2. Remove the rear seat back beam rear cover fasteners.
3. Starting at the bottom, gently pull on the rear seat back beam rear cover to disengage the attaching fasteners.
4. Pull upward on the rear seat back beam rear cover to disengage the locking tabs, then remove the beam cover.
5. Gently pry open the rear seat back front cover at the beam ledge and remove the rear seat back front cover.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear seat back front cover onto the rear seat back beam.
2. Position the rear seat back beam rear cover locking tabs over the rear seat back beam.




3. Push at the attaching clip location and snap the beam cover into place.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the rear seat back beam rear cover fasteners.

Tighten the rear seat back beam rear cover fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the rear seat back beam rear cover fasteners.
