Location
The secondary air injection pump is located at the rear right on the engine support.

Task
The secondary air injection pump delivers fresh air from the air filter to the secondary air valve when air injection is enabled.

Function
The secondary air injection pump is actuated via the secondary air injection pump relay (K64) by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) when air injection is enabled.
