APPLICABILITY 3DR/SDN/STATION WAGON DATE 04-11-86


SUBJECT: MODIFIED REAR MUD FLAP INSTALLATION


The FHI Rear Mud Flaps, both accessory and line installed, will change to include an additional attachment point starting in May, 1986. All current part numbers with supersessions remain the same. They are:


Application OE Line Installed Rear Flap Subaru Accessory Package

3Dr/Sdn J1017GA010 RH (1) 011 LH (1) J1010GA005/009 (Set of 4)
Station wagon J1017GA013 RH (1) 014 LH (1) J1010GA006/010 (Set of 4)


VEHICLES PRODUCED:


* Before May, 1986 - will not have the extra fender hole. When installing mud flaps do not drill the fender. Use the existing attachment points only and discard any extra mounting hardware.


* After May, 1986 - will have the holes pre-drilled by the factory. Install using all the supplied hardware.
