Cylinder Head





All steps follow the numerical sequence shown in the image except for Step 3.

Step 1. All bolts 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m, 14 ft. lbs.)
Step 2. All bolts 50 Nm (5.1 kgf-m, 37 ft. lbs.)
Step 3a. Back off all bolts by 180° in reverse order of installation
Step 3b. Back off all bolts by another 180° in reverse order of installation
Step 4. 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m, 14 ft. lbs.)
Step 5. Only bolts 1 through 4 48 Nm (4.9 kgf-m, 35.4 ft. lbs.)
Step 6. Only bolts 5 through 8 44 Nm (4.5 kgf-m, 33 ft. lbs.)
Step 7. Tighten all bolts by 90°
Step 8. Tighten only bolts 1 through 4 by 45°


Crankshaft Pulley 178 Nm (18.1 kgf-m, 131 ft. lbs.)


Oil Pump 6.4 Nm (0.65 kgf-m, 4.7 ft. lbs.)





Tighten the bolts in the numerical order as shown in the figure.


Water Pump 6.4 Nm (0.65 kgf-m, 4.7 ft. lbs.)
