Steering Angle Sensor

REPLACEMENT
1) Set the steering wheel in a straight-ahead position.
2) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
3) Remove the airbag module.

CAUTION:
Always disarm Airbag System before performing the service operation.

4) Remove the roll connector.
5) Disengage tabs, and remove the steering angle sensor from the roll connector.





6) Remove the clip attached to the protrusion of new steering angle sensor.

CAUTION:
Do not rotate the steering angle sensor protrusion.





7) Align the center of roll connector.
8) Align the position of the protrusion and install roll connector to steering angle sensor.
9) Install the roll connector.
10) After installation, perform the neutral position setting of the steering angle sensor.
