Tightening Specifications

First pass 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m, 14.8 ft-lb)
Second pass 50 Nm (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)
Third pass: Loosen all bolts 180°
Fourth pass: Loosen all bolts 180°
Fifth pass 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m, 14.8 ft-lb)
Sixth pass: Bolts (1)-(4) 48 Nm (4.9 kgf-m, 35.4 ft-lb)
Seventh pass: Bolts (5)-(8) 44 Nm (4.5 kgf-m, 32.5 ft-lb)
Eighth pass: Tighten all bolts 90 °
Final pass: Tighten bolts (1)-(4) 45°

Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts
Gradually tighten the camshaft cap in at least two stages in numerical order, then tighten to specified torque.
