Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C Evaporator Inlet and Outlet Air Temperature Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON position.
2. Set the air flow selector of HVAC control module to vent position, and then turn the ignition switch OFF position after three seconds. (It takes about three seconds to move over air flow selector door vent position.)
3. Disconnect the negative (-) cable at the battery.
4. Remove the glove box.




5. Remove the A/C evaporator inlet air temperature sensor (1).




6. Remove the A/C evaporator outlet air temperature sensor (1).

Installation

Reverse the removal procedure to install A/C evaporator inlet and outlet air temperature sensors.
