Immobilizer System Antenna Amp.: Removal and Installation

NOTE:

- If immobilizer system antenna amp. is not installed correctly, immobilizer system will not operate properly and "DTC check" on SDT screen will show "LOCK MODE" or "CHAIN OF IMMU-KEY".
- Initialization is not necessary when only the immobilizer system antenna amp. is replaced with a new one.

Removal

1) Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to [Battery: Removal and Installation] Removal and Replacement.
2) Remove the instrument lower panel LH. Refer to [Instrument Lower Panel LH: Removal and Installation] Instrument Lower Panel LH.
3) Remove the immobilizer system antenna amp bolt (A).





4) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) and remove the immobilizer system antenna amp (2).

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
