TCM Removal and Installation

NOTE:

As the TCM consists of precision parts, the TCM will be damaged if it is exposed to an excessively large impact.

Handle the TCM carefully so as not to impact it.

Removal

1) Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
2) Remove driver side instrument panel undercover. Removal and Replacement
3) Disconnect connectors (2) from TCM (1).
4) Remove TCM by removing nuts (3).






Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

- After replacing TCM, perform Programming and Relearning TCM Initialization and Learning Control.
