Fig. 89 Disconnect Hose From Vacuum Switch:

1. Maintain engine speed at 2,000 rpm and disconnect the connectors of the EACV and EBCV.
2. Wait a few seconds and reconnect the EBCV connector and check that the engine drops about 300 rpm immediately, Fig. 88
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from vacuum switch #2 and plug the hose end, Fig. 89
4. Check that the engine speed return to 2,000 rpm, after a few seconds.
5. Reconnect the vacuum hose and connector to the proper locations.
