Blower Motor Switch: Testing and Inspection
REAR BLOWER SWITCHINSPECTION
1. REMOVE CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
2. REMOVE REAR BLOWER SWITCH
a. Pull out the switch knob.
b. Remove the 2 screws and switch.
3. Manual A/C
INSPECT REAR BLOWER SWITCH CONTINUITY
Switch continuity;
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
Illumination circuit:
If continuity is not as specified, check the bulb
4. Auto A/C:
INSPECT REAR BLOWER SWITCH CONTINUITY
Illumination circuit:
If continuity is not as specified, check the bulb.
Switch continuity:
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
5. Auto A/C:
INSPECT REAR BLOWER SWITCH CIRCUIT
6. INSTALL REAR BLOWER SWITCH
a. Install the switch with the 2 screws.
b. Install the switch knob.
7. INSTALL CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
Install the panel, then connect the connector.
