O/D Cancel Signal Circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

While driving uphill with the cruise control activated, the overdrive may be prohibited temporarily under some condition in order to minimize the gear shifting and provide smooth cruising.

The cruise control ECU sends 0/D cut signals to the ECM as necessary and the ECM cancels the shift to the overdrive until these signals are discontinued.
