EGR Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION 1.
REMOVE EGR VALVE
2.
REMOVE EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
3.
INSPECT EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
4.
REINSTALL EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
5.
REINSTALL EGR VALVE
