2AZ-FXE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
2. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) Testing and Inspection
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Removal
5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER
6. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY
7. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE
8. INSTALL CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER
10. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal
12. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY Removal
13. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET Removal
14. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE Removal
15. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE Removal
16. REMOVE ELECTRIC INVERTER COMPRESSOR Removal
17. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
(b) Remove the connector clamp and wire harness clamp.
(c) Remove the wire harness clamp bracket from the wire harness.
(d) Remove the bolt, and then remove the crankshaft position sensor.
