PROCEDURES NECESSARY WHEN BATTERY TERMINAL IS DISCONNECTED/RECONNECTED

a. THE WORK LIST: USA, Canada







NOTICE: When the auxiliary battery is replaced or the cable is disconnected from its negative (-) battery terminal, the ISC learning value will be initialized and symptoms as a noise from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly may occur until ISC learning is performed. Therefore, perform ISC learning when the auxiliary battery is replaced or the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary battery.

b. THE WORK LIST: Except USA, Canada







NOTICE: When the auxiliary battery is replaced or the cable is disconnected from its negative (-) battery terminal, the ISC learning value will be initialized and symptoms such as a high idle speed or noise from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly may occur until ISC learning is performed. Therefore, perform ISC learning when the auxiliary battery is replaced or the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary battery.
