Installation





2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: KNOCK SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Install the 2 knock control sensors with the 2 bolts as shown in the illustration.





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 knock control sensor connectors.

2. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD Installation

3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Service and Repair

8. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Fuel System

9. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER Installation

11. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR & LINK ASSEMBLY

12. CHECK FUNCTION OF THROTTLE BODY On-Vehicle Inspection
