SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: SEAT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

Removal

3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH Disassembly

4. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster) Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Disassembly

6. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Separate the wire harness from the seat slide position sensor protector.

(c) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

(d) Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
