Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Air Intake Layout:
Refer to On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) for fault code access.
Refer to VAG 1598 Pin Out Box/ Electrical Checks, step #28, to test wiring.
CAUTION: Ignition MUST be switched OFF before disconnecting the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. After switching OFF ignition allow 20 seconds for the hot wire in the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor to heat up and self clean.
