Condition

Updated valve bodies use "flex foil" for the solenoid valves instead of wires. These valve bodies require a new oil pan.

Production

Transmissions produced after No. 29 03 3 have the new valve body which has the magnet in the oil pan relocated by 30 mm to prevent chaffing of the "flex foil" by the magnet holding clips.

Service

If the valve body is replaced prior to and including transmission No. 29 03 3, a new oil pan must be installed, Part No. 096 321 359 B.
