Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, Checking

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR, CHECKING

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items
- Fluke 83 multimeter
- VW 1594 adaptor kit

- Disconnect Engine Coolant Temperature sensor G27 harness connector

- Measure resistance between Engine Coolant Temperature sensor terminals 1 + 3 using Fluke 83 multimeter

- Specifications

If specification not obtained
- Replace Engine Coolant Temperature sensor (after first releasing coolant system pressure)
