Radiator Support: Service and Repair

Lock Carrier, Removing/Installing

Body - Front





1 - Self-locking bolt
• 12 Nm (9 ft lb)
•When reusing: Clean bolt thread with wire brush and nut thread with thread tap. Coat bolt with locking fluid, Part No. D 185400 A 2.

2 - Lock

3 - Clip

4 - Self-tapping screw
• 5 Nm (44 in. lb)

5 - Lock carrier

Removing

- Remove front bumper. Service and Repair

- Remove radiator grille and trim. Radiator Grille





- Unscrew lock -1- and unfasten Bowden cable.

- Separate connector for headlights and turn signals.

- Loosen clip holding hydraulic fluid reservoir -2-.

- Remove A/C system refrigerant hose from retaining clips.

- Remove bolts -3-.





- Remove bolts -1-.
