Subframe Mounting Cap Nut

If the threads of the cap nut in the body side member are damaged, they must be tapped out or re-drilled and tapped as follows:

- Support engine/transmission assembly with support tool No. 10-222A and 10-222A/1, or equivalent.
- Remove subframe.
- Drill through cap nut in body with 10.2 mm (13/32 in.) drill.

WARNING: Wear protective goggles when drilling.

CAUTION: Maintain proper alignment and DO NOT tilt drill.

- Cut new M12 x 1.5 mm thread in cap nut.
- Install Subframe using new collar bolt.
