Ignition Switch

CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting the Battery ( A), the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair Information. Refer to => [ Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Removing

- Disconnect the Battery (A). Refer to => [ Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery A, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the steering column trim.

- Disconnect the connector on the Ignition Switch ( D).

- Remove the sealing pain in the threaded holes for the screws - A -.





- Loosen the screws - A - and remove the Ignition Switch (D) from the steering lock housing in - direction of arrow -.

Installing

- Install the Ignition Switch (D) in the steering lock housing.

Make sure the Ignition Switch (D) and the lock cylinder are in the same position, for example, "ignition ON" when installing the Ignition Switch (D).

- Tighten the screws and seal the threaded holes with sealing paint.
