The Engine Control Module (ECM) regulates fuel injection, the throttle valve control module, oxygen sensor control, ignition, knock control, EVAP canister purge regulator valves, engine speed limitation via fuel injectors and Fuel Pump (FP) relay, camshaft adjustment as well as On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
