Bosch LH 2.4 and 3.1 jetronic fuel injection systems can be identified by the differance in Mass Air Flow sensors used.
The mass air flow sensor is located in front of the driver side strut tower.

Air Mass Meter For LH-2.4 Jetronic:





The Bosch LH 2.4 jetronic uses a hot wire mass air flow sensor and can be detected by the integrated potentiometer box located on the side of the housing.

Air Mass Meter For LH-3.1 Jetronic:





The Bosch LH 3.1 jetronic uses a hot film mass air flow sensor and can be detected by the centrally located "tower" with the ECU harness connector.
