System is tested by conducting performance test, then comparing actual gauge readings to recommended gauge readings.
1. Connect gauge and manifold set. Connect high side to ``DISCH'' and low side to ``SUCTION.''
2. Open hood and front door, and run engine at 2000 RPM.
3. Set blower speed at maximum, temperature control button to cool, floor and defroster buttons off, recirculation button on dash vents open and air conditioner control on. If system is equipped with driver adjustable thermostat, setting should be at maximum.
4. Refer to Fig. 2, for test specifications.
