1. Ignition off
The duct temperature sensor is located in the driver or passenger side ventilation duct.
2. Expose duct temperature sensor:
- Remove control module. Refer to "Connecting and Disconnecting Test Unit" (On Board Diagnostic Test Unit.) [1][2]Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
- Remove sound insulation.
- Remove glove compartment (on passenger side). Refer to "Blower Motor Replacement". Service and Repair
3. Remove connector:
Remove connector from duct temperature sensor.
4. Remove duct temperature sensor:
- Cut off tie.
- Pull duct temperature sensor downwards.
5. Install:
- Duct temperature sensor.
- Connector.
- Replace tie.
- Control module.
- Sound insulation.
- Glove compartment (on passenger side).
