Verification

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows.








- Ignition off.
- Reinstall connectors, components etc.
- Press brake pedal down hard three or four times to remove vacuum in the power brake booster.
- Push brake pedal down hard as if braking suddenly.




- Check that the brake pedal feels firm and that pedal travel is no more than 40 mm.
- Check that the brakes do not vibrate.
- Test drive car according to Test driving Test Driving.





Check that brake function is normal and that the brakes do not squeal.
