Location of Components, Cruise Control (Passenger Compartment - Cruise Control, Switch):

- The fault is permanent.
- The control module is correctly connected.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in cable between fuse 11/28 and control module connector terminal 8T.
- Short-circuit to ground or voltage in cable between fuse 11/28 and control module connector terminal 8T.
- Defective switch.

Fault symptom[s]
- Vehicle speed does not decrease when SET- is activated.
- Cruise control does not engage.
- Vehicle speed decreases constantly.
