Stop (brake) light switch early type

Adjustment






- Pedal jack removed and brake pedal released.
- Undo locknut if not already loose.
- Connect battery negative lead if disconnected.
- Unscrew stop (brake) light switch (from brake pedal) until stop (brake) light lights.
- Screw switch in gently (towards brake pedal) until stop (brake) light goes out again.
- Tighten locknut. Ensure that switch position does not change.
- Check that wiring is not twisted.
- Install soundproofing.
