Checking Camshaft Position Sensor Signal
- Ignition off.
- Connect the test box and check ground terminals.
- Connect engine control module (ECM).
- Ignition on.
- Connect a multimeter between # 21 (# A21) and # 42 (# A42) on the test box.
- Set the multimeter to measure frequency.
- Operate starter motor.
- Frequency should be 1.5 - 2.0 Hz when the engine is turned over by the starter motor.

If reading is OK:
