Wiper Switch: Service and Repair


EA1 Removing:





- Position the steering wheel straight ahead.
- Ignition off.

Remove:
- steering wheel cover screws.
- steering wheel covers. Push the upper one to one side.
- switch screws.

Disconnect connector and replace switch.

EA2 Installing:

CAUTION: The turn signal switch should be in the neutral position when it is installed. The pin that controls automatic cancel may otherwise be broken off.

Install:
- wiper and/or turn signal indicator switch. Ensure that the ground lead is positioned under the lower mounting screw when it is installed.
- steering wheel covers and screws.

Test switch function.
