Service Security Setting

(4-door models only)
The trunk/tailgate central locking module is equipped with a service/security setting" in which the central locking module is not activated by the central locking system. The trunk/tailgate lock can then only be activated by the master key or wallet key.

The service/security setting activates the central locking motor, but the central locking motor control rod is disengaged from the central locking module locking mechanism so it does not activate the locking mechanism.







Locking in service/security setting:
Turn key approx. 90° anti-clockwise.
Remove key horizontally.

Unlocking service/security setting:
Turn key approx. 120° clockwise (1), the key will return to the vertical position automatically (2).
Remove key vertically.
