Place a hand on the preheating hose where it is connected to the air cleaner
(ACL) housing.

The temperature of the hose should be the same as ambient temperature.
If reading is OK: ^
Proceed to:
Checking Mass Air Flow Sensor.
If reading is incorrect: ^
Check preheating shutter in
air cleaner housing for leakage.
