Checking the Air Conditioning (A/C) System, Function Test







NOTE: The A/C compressor Will start when the engine is started, even if the air conditioning A/C button is in the OFF position. After a few seconds the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor will stop. This is the normal operating procedure for the A/C compressor.


Hint: When a fault has been detected it is necessary to check that its symptom no longer exists. Check as follows:

- Ignition off.
- Connect connectors, reinstall components etc.
- Start the engine.
- Switch the Air Conditioning (A/C) button to on.
- Test all Air Conditioning (A/C) functions.
