Checking Torque Converter
- Check torque converter throat for damage.
- If it is damaged, replace torque converter according to Removing, replacing transmission/torque converter.
- If it is damaged, replace the oil pump sealing ring according to Replacing the oil pump sealing ring.
- Install torque converter according to Installing transmission/torque converter.

Was the torque converter throat damaged?
