Wiper Switch: Service and Repair






Replacing wiper and/or turn signal indicator switch

Removing




Position the steering wheel straight ahead.
Ignition off.

Remove:
- steering wheel cover screws.
- steering wheel covers. Push the upper one to one side.
- switch screws.
Disconnect connector. Replace switch.

Installing





Note! The turn signal switch should be in the neutral position when it is installed. The pin that controls automatic cancel may otherwise be broken off.

Install:
- wiper and/or turn signal indicator switch. Ensure that the ground lead is positioned under the lower mounting screw when it is installed.
- steering wheel covers and screws.
- Test switch function.
