Weatherstrips

Replacing door weatherstrips





Removing:
- Undo the doorstop (knock out the locking pin, press pin together if necessary).
- Lift the weatherstrip out of the clips and carefully pull it free.
- Carefully remove old clips from the door.
- Clean the door.

Installing:
New weatherstrip is supplied with clips.
With an old weatherstrip, check/replace clips.
- Place pins into the rubber.
- Start in the upper corner.
- Slip weatherstrip into the guide, remove backing strip and press down weatherstrip.
- Press in clips.

Note! Blue colored clips are for the left side.

- Install the door stop.

Replacing door opening weatherstrips




- Remove the A pillar panel.
- Remove the sill trim (at the front 2 x screws).
- Pull the weatherstrip off.
- Press the weatherstrip on, starting in the upper corner by the B pillar.

Note! Ensure that the strip is applied properly over the panels.

Note! The strip must be under the panel at the B pillar panel.

- Apply a soap solution by the dashboard (if necessary, undo the bottom dashboard bolt).
- Install sill trim.
- Install the lower A pillar panel.

Replacing boot lid/tailgate weatherstrip




- Pull the weatherstrip off.
- Slide the weatherstrip onto the edge.

Note! If required, use lubricating compound.
