Connecting The Volvo Communication Tool 2000 (VCT 2000)






The VCT 2000 must be connected to both the VADIS/VIDA PC and the data link connector (DLC) in the car to communicate with the control modules in the car.

Fault data and other information can be read off using the VADIS/VIDA PC which is connected to the data link connector (DLC) via VCT 2000. The data link connector (DLC) is on the left-hand side of the center console. It is on the right-hand side of the center console on right-hand drive cars.
The VADIS/VIDA PC communicates with the control module via VCT 2000. Communication is via a standardized communication network.
