For left-hand drive cars:
Check the cable between VGLA control module terminal #A18 and the gray lock unit connector terminal 1. Check for an open-circuit. See Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.
For right-hand drive cars:
Check the cable between VGLA control module terminal #A18 and the gray lock unit connector terminal 4. Check for an open-circuit. See Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.
