Condition
No diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored.

Possible Source
Defective movement sensor.

Start fault-tracing with TTB.


TTB1. Checking Movement Sensor Function





Ignition off.
Remove key from ignition switch.
Close all doors, the hood and trunk lid.
Open driver's door window completely.
Lock the car using the remote control to arm the alarm.
Wait approximately 25 seconds (so that the alarm goes into monitoring mode).
Lean into the car and wave your arms.


NOTE: Be ready to shut off the alarm by unlocking the car with the remote control, the alarm is very loud.


The alarm should be triggered it should produce audible and visible alarms.
Is this function OK?
Yes: Fault not found
No: Go to TTB2.


TTB2. Replacing Component

Try a new movement sensor according to replacing movement sensor in service and repair.
Then continue, fault corrected
