Condition

Possible source
- Open-circuit, short-circuit to ground or short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable for the data link connector (DLC).
- Open-circuit in the data link connector (DLC) power supply, power ground or signal ground.
- Open-circuit in the power supply to the SRS control module.
- Defective VCT 2000, adapter or wiring.


NOTE: Check the battery voltage before starting fault-tracing.


Condition
- No communication with the SRS on-board diagnostic (OBD) system.
