Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair






Window lift mechanism rear side door, replacing

Removing the lift mechanism for the rear side door




The window must be in the half open position.

Remove:
- the door panel. See Panel, rear side door, replacing Service and Repair (-2003) or Panel rear side door, replacing Service and Repair (2004-)
- the drip guard. See Drip guard Drip Guard
- the two rivets. See Removing rivet .
Push the window to its upper position. Secure the window using tape.




- the two rivets. See Removing rivet
- one nut (M6)
- the window lift mechanism.

Installing the lift mechanism for the rear side door

Install:
- the power window mechanism
- one nut (M6)
- the four blind rivets
- the drip guard. See Drip guard Drip Guard
- the door panel. See Panel, rear side door, replacing Service and Repair (-2003) or Panel rear side door, replacing Service and Repair (2004-).
