Checking Movement Sensor Function







- Ignition off.
- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Close all the doors including hood and tailgate.
- Open driver's door window completely.
- Lock the car using the remote control to arm the alarm.
- Wait approximately 25 seconds (so that the alarm goes into monitoring mode).

Lean into the car and wave your arms.


NOTE: Be prepared to deactivate the alarm by unlocking the car with the remote control. The audible acknowledgment signal is very loud.


The alarm should be triggered - it should produce audible and visible alarms.

Is the function OK?

Yes - Test complete

No - Replacing Component
