Modifying tailgate, replacing

Background:

Tailgate of 855 should be used as replacement part for V70.

V70 however has a larger lock cylinder so the existing hole in the replacement part tailgate outer panel must be filed out.

Modifications must be made before spraying the tailgate.


Modifying lock cylinder holes, V70:





- Copy the template
- cut off marked surface
- position the template on lock cylinder outlet on replacement part tailgate so position 1 corresponds with the tailgate
- file off superfluous outer panels
- check handle to ensure it can be installed.
